VAW Systems: FLEX Connector

All of our standard and custom flexible connections are available in any construction gauge and material to meet the most demanding application. Our application engineers review all selections to ensure the best available solution is applied to meet your needs.

Features and Benefits:

• Are available in round and rectangular geometries to suit specific connections between fan and ductwork or equipment
• Available in materials suitable for normal or high temperature applications
• Can be used on inlet or discharge connections
• Available with a thermal break or sound wrap protection to prevent noise or temperature from migrating out through the flex connection

Typical Construction:

• Hot Rolled 7ga Steel or 304 Stainless Steel
• Enamel coating systems (<200F) for Hot Rolled Steel Construction
• Flex Material   
  • Option #1: Teflon (double layer: -67F to 500F)
  • Option #2: EPDM with Nylon Weave (1/8" Thick: -60F to 300F)
• Rectangular: Backing Bars for clamping
• Circular: 304SS Banding or Backing Bars
• 8inch Flange to Flange (FF) Installed Length (Available 6"-12")
• Extension/Compression 1/2"
